When screen printing, one often inks the screen and then pulls a test print on scrap paper. Screen printers will use these pieces of paper over and over, ending up with amazing, randomly layered abstract compositions.

A screen printer friend cut all these pages up and made small sets, which she sent to close friends. I chose my favorite prints to reserve for framing. The rest went into my "mulch" pile. This lamp includes a screen print of Harry Houdini's signature, hence the name.

As with all lamps in the "Empire," sockets and wiring are all new.
