This shade is a collage of tree engravings taken from an old book The Works in Architecture of the Late Robert and James Adam, which is made up detailed architectural drawings that was printed in 1822.

The base is a collage of brass parts and a ceramic disc made by artist James Aarons.

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring.
