Some objects seem to sing. Take Sonatina, for example. Look closely and you’ll practically hear the humming rhythm of these unique lamps. Their elegant one of a kind shades vibrate with dynamic trills of color and form. The bases and found object details resonate with grounding timpani. Made individually, Sonatina I and II are bold enough to stand alone; as a pair they sing to the second balcony.

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring. Every lamp is a unique combination of hand-made ceramics and found objects produced in our Northern CA studios. The shades use heavy acid-free rag papers and are preserved with UV and moisture-lock archival protection.
