There’s a warm breeze rustling through the window. A glow illuminates your room dimmed by summer’s waning day. An embracing calm settles. You flip open a novel as the light and the wind carry you deep into the night.

Summer Wind, a new one of a kind lamp from the this duo of artists, sets the stage for engrossing evening reading with its studio printed archival papers, hand thrown base and a dramatic riser lifting the shade to impressive heights. As with all their lamps, meticulous attention to detail is apparent and the mix of studio made and found objects culminate in a lamp that stands out as a work of art.

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring. Every lamp is a unique combination of hand-made ceramics and found objects produced in our Northern CA studios. The shades use heavy acid-free rag papers and are preserved with UV and moisture-lock archival protection.
