Part of a collaborative series, this uncommon lamp is brimming with thoughtful details. The lampshade, a collage sewn from heavy, archival papers, is adorned with a zipper and silver and gold screen prints. An original ceramic form is paired with found objects for the base. This is one in a series of lamps, each created by hand using unique found objects, which will vary, ensuring that every piece is a true original.

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring. Every lamp is a unique combination of hand-made ceramics and found objects produced in our Northern CA studios. The shades use heavy acid-free rag papers and are preserved with UV and moisture-lock archival protection.
