Base & Shade are 27" tall, Shade is 18" diameter.

Another collaboration with ceramic artist James Aarons, this one started out with that big red base. Once I got it into my studio, I plopped a glass ball on top and the rest just made itself. I thought the base was so impressive, it would require an equally substantial shade. You can't see it from the picture, but the color of the cord and the color of the zipper are just about perfectly matched... This lamp gets its name from my favorite Stereolab album.

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring.
