Base & Shade are 18” tall; Shade is 10” diameter.

This lamp combines a square crackle glaze ceramic base with a small aluminum flourish and a glass globe. This shade is a collage of reproductions of engravings taken from The Works in Architecture of the Late Robert and James Adam, a book of architectural drawings that was printed in 1822.

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring. Every lamp is a unique combination of hand-made ceramics and found objects produced in our Northern CA studios. The shades use heavy acid-free rag papers and are preserved with UV and moisture-lock archival protection.
