Base & Shade are 22" tall, Shade is 8" diameter.

Base is by ceramic artist James Aarons. I wanted something short and square that I thought I would use as the starting point for something more substantial. Truth be told, when this one first came from the kiln, it wasn't the nicest shade of green, and it was a little too shiny for my taste. So James took it to a friend's house and used his sandblaster on it. Once we got it back, I fell in love. I had the perfect circle of onyx that I had been dying to use. Plop that on, insert vase cap, cut pole to match and voila. The shade is pretty subtle, but the whole thing just pops when the light comes on. Lamps. Who knew?

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring.
