Base & Shade are 23.75" tall, Shade is 10" diameter.

I have this very old dictionary that includes some random color-plate illustrations, which all appear to have printing registration problems. The major image on this lamp is of a magnolia from this book.

The base is made up of parts from three lamps, including a library table model with a green enamel base. 

As with all lamps in the "Empire," sockets and wiring are all new.
