Morning Dawning feels like the first glimmer of dawn as the moon's silver light slowly gives way to warm rays of a yellow morning sun. Its elegance is enhanced by a one-of-a-kind sewn-paper collage, a classic base glazed to resemble burnished steel and an old machine pulley whose patina, though polished and softened by sand blasting, mesmerizes with historic beauty.

All "Empire" lamps include new sockets, plugs and wiring. Every lamp is a unique combination of hand-made ceramics and found objects produced in our Northern CA studios. The shades use heavy acid-free rag papers and are preserved with UV and moisture-lock archival protection.
